Family Oriented Enrichment

What a student learns at home is just as important as what they learn in school. Working with a gifted student at home presents different challenges than simply helping with homework. The resources below are a mix of paid and free resources for having fun with your child while encouraging critical thinking and creativity. Many of the activities can involve the whole family.

GirlStart
GirlStart is an organization and website geared towards engaging girls in STEM fields. While they are based in Houston making the the on-site activities unavailable, they have many downloadable activities and guides to engage the whole family. Girls and boys can enjoy the many activities such as creating edible dinosaur DNA models, teabag rockets, or creating a moving model of the human hand!
