U. S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan was in Hamburg, Thursday, August 26, as part of a bus tour. The purpose of the tour was to see first hand an early childhood education program that is working.

Duncan says it is his effort to help educators close the achievement gap among students.  The education secretary kicked-off a national school bus tour in front of Little Rock's Central High School Thursday. With only two stops in Arkansas, Hamburg Pre-K was honored to be part of the tour.
